Getting started with Relume Publish

By the end of this doc, you'll be able to:

1. Understand what Relume Publish is
2. Access Publish and start a project with a Website Brief
3. Generate and shape a site's design using Relume AI
4. Publish a site to a live URL
5. Know the roles available on a site, and where to manage site settings, plans, and AI usage

What is Relume Publish

Relume Publish keeps your website brief, design, edits, and hosting all in one place. You can start from rough, unorganised inputs and end up with a live, published website, without switching between separate tools.

The Workflow

1. Access Relume Publish

Relume Publish is one of 3 products available from the Relume dashboard, alongside Export and Library, accessible from a mode dropdown in the top-left corner. 

1. The product dropdown in the top-left corner shows the product you're currently in.
2. Selecting Publish switches you into it.

2. Create a Brief

Everything starts with a Brief. You can bring whatever you already have — files, PDFs, brand guidelines, even a client call recording, or just a URL — and Relume pulls it into one structured brief covering the project's overview, goals, audience, and requirements. If something's missing, the Brief lets you know: it rates its own confidence and asks follow-up questions when it needs more to work with.

3. Build in the Sitemap, Wireframe, and Design tabs

From there, Relume AI generates a full site straight from the Brief, moving through three more tabs: Sitemap, Wireframe, and Design: 

• Sitemap  lays out the site's structure.
• Wireframe shapes each page's layout and content. 
• Design applies the brand — logo, colours, typography, spacing. 

Every decision the AI makes is visible, so you can override anything. Swapping out a component takes a click, with no prompt required.

4. Publish your Site

Once a site is ready, publishing takes it to a real, live URL hosted by Relume. 

A site doesn't stop being a Relume project once it's live, either. Performance is tracked through built-in analytics, and a set of agents for strategy, copy, design, and analysis remain on hand to work on the site directly, with nothing going out until it's been reviewed and approved.

Roles in Relume Publish

Roles control what each person on a team can see and do on a site. Everyone can view and comment, but editing, publishing, and account-level access depend on which role someone has. Roles are set per site, though there's also the option to give someone access to all your current and future sites at once:

• Owner — Has full control of the site, including the only permissions to delete it or transfer ownership.
• Admin — Can do everything the Owner can except delete the site or transfer ownership.
• Editor — Can build and publish the site, but can't manage people, billing, or domains.
• Viewer — Can view the site and leave comments, but can't edit, publish, or use the workspace AI.
• Billing Contact — A hosting-only contact who manages payment and billing, with no control over the site itself.

Site Settings, Plan & AI Usage

Site Settings

Site Settings covers everything specific to one site — its domain, discoverability, tracking, forms, and who has access. You'll find it inside that site, under its own Settings tab.

• Domains — connect and manage your domain.
• Discoverability — control whether search engines and AI crawlers can find the site.
• Tracking & Scripts — add analytics or custom code.
• Forms — manage submissions and notifications.
• Ownership & Access — assign roles and permissions to team members.

Workspace & Website Plans

There are two types of plans: your Workspace Plan and your Website Plan. You'll find both under Account Settings > Plans & Hosting.

• Workspace Plan — AI usage across the whole workspace.
• Website Plan — traffic and hosting, set per site.
